Sensor Driver SD-2

The SD-2 Sensor Driver is a stand-alone lighting controller implementing our patented  Light Modulation™ technology, allowing the creation of light effects hitherto difficult - or impossible - to create.

The SD-2 is designed to be used as a general-purpose lighting controller bringing Light Modulation effects to a wide variety of applications such as stage lighting, architectural lighting, mood lighting and luminotherapy. It features an industry-standard DMX-512 digital lighting control port, through which it can control banks of RGB light projectors arrayed along projection surfaces.

In addition, the SD-2 can also act as the nerve center of a Sensora^® multi-sensorial room, coordinating all the peripheral elements of the Sensora installation through its multiple data ports.

SD-2 LIGHT MODULATION CAPABILITIES:

• Controls up to 30 light sources arranged in 10 groups of either 3  (Red, Green and Blue) or 4 (Red, Green, Blue and Yellow) primary colors each, allowing the generation of any color of the rainbow through additive color mixing.
• Uses 3 low frequency oscillators (LFO) for each group of primary colors, for a total of 30 LFOs. The LFOs are arranged in a structure that allows complex intensity and color modulations of each group.
• Each LFO has depth, frequency, offset,  phase, waveshape and duty cycle controls, both global and individual, for a total of 120 independent parameters defining the light patterns.
• The frequency range of each LFO is from .01 to 50 Hz, overlapping the frequencies of brainwaves (about 2 to 20Hz). This generation of light pulsations within the brainwave range allows brainwave entrainment to be incorporated within the projected light patterns.
• Controlled through a USB port, compatible with all Sensora light design software applications (such as Sensora Light Painting, Sensora Color Balancing, Sensora Sequencer, Sensora Core Sessions,...). Pattern specifications can also be entered through MIDI.
• Includes a copy of the Sensora Light Painting control software.
